Questions
What readers ask
Does either dock refill its own water?
The Yeedi page lists auto water refilling, with coverage up to about 4,300 sq ft (400 square meters). The Dreame page was not fully readable, so its refill claim was not confirmed here.
Which one uses LiDAR for navigation?
Both. Launch coverage describes the Yeedi as using an embedded dToF LiDAR, and a hands-on review describes the Dreame as using a top-mounted spinning LiDAR.
Has either been lab tested?
A hands-on review tested the Dreame: 21 of 24 objects avoided, and thresholds crossed at 0.75 in but not 0.98 in. No comparable test of the Yeedi was found.
