A new robot vacuum claims a 99.99% germ kill. No lab is named.
Eufy’s newest robot vacuum pairs UV light with electrolyzed water and claims a 99.99 percent germ kill, a figure the company has not attributed to any named lab.

Eufy’s newest robot vacuum, the Omni S2 Pro, went on sale November 1, 2026, priced at $1,699. The suction rating rose to 40,000 Pa, up from 30,000 Pa on the S2 it replaces, and the robot gained a second floor-disinfection system alongside the electrolyzed water the earlier model already sprayed.
The new system is a UV-C light mounted under the robot, working alongside the electrolyzed-water spray carried over from the S2. Eufy says the combination kills 99.99 percent of common household germs, including E. coli, on contact with every pass.
That figure comes from Eufy’s own announcement. The company calls it “lab-verified,” but coverage of the launch and a second account of the same announcement both name no outside lab, no test surface and no germ list beyond E. coli.
The mop system, HydroJet 3.0, heats water to 131°F and rinses its own roller continuously during a run. The dock washes that roller in hot water, dries it with warm air, and holds an antibacterial dust bag. A built-in scent diffuser runs at the end of a cycle.
At $1,699, the Omni S2 Pro is Eufy’s priciest robot vacuum yet, the top of a lineup that also includes the Omni C30 at $799.99.
No independent review of the Omni S2 Pro has published yet. Nothing outside Eufy’s own figures describes how the UV-C light and electrolyzed water perform together on a carpet edge, a floor seam, or a dock pad after weeks of pet hair and spilled coffee.
