Dreame marked its L50 Ultra robot vacuum down 36 percent. The price went up.
Dreame's robot vacuum lists a steep discount off its own sticker price. Three weeks earlier, independent deal tracking had the same model selling for $140 less.

Dreame’s U.S. storefront now lists the L50 Ultra robot vacuum and mop at $899.99. The company’s product page calls that a 36 percent markdown from a $1,399 list price. Robovations had last recorded this robot’s street price at $849.99, about $50 below the new figure.
That discount is measured against Dreame’s own printed reference, not against what shoppers paid recently. A specialist deal-tracking page priced the same L50 Ultra at $759.99 on October 6, 2026, a $140 markdown off a $899.99 reference price at the time. That reference figure, treated three weeks ago as the ordinary price, is what Dreame now calls a bargain.
No capability, software or autonomy change accompanies the October 23 price update. Dreame’s storefront changes prices without a dated release, so there is no announcement to check the number against, only the listing itself. The Level IV autonomy classification Robovations has on record for this robot is unaffected either way.
The L50 Ultra is a currently sold consumer robot, not a prototype or an enterprise machine. Anyone pricing it today lands on a comparison between $899.99 and Dreame’s $1,399 sticker price, not between $899.99 and the $759.99 some buyers paid three weeks earlier.
A storefront percentage measures a price against whatever reference figure a company chooses to print beside it. It says nothing about what the robot sold for the week before, or the week before that, and Dreame has not published a price history that would let a shopper check either number against the other.
