    What happened

The maker says a new chore can be taught in about 30 minutes.

    Bottom line

Flourish 1 is a preorder-stage announcement with maker-reported figures only.

    Impact

    On autonomy

    • Chores are taught by demonstration through a phone app, with no code
    • The maker says each new chore takes roughly 30 minutes to teach
    • Lifting capacity is stated at about 3.3 pounds across both arms
    • Independent confirmation of taught-chore reliability is not yet on record

    On readiness

    • Preorders cover a first batch of 50 units only
    • Deliveries are planned to begin in December 2026
    • No independent delivery or owner reports exist yet
    • Reports note the robot works slowly and may struggle if a home changes

    Announcement

Flourish Robots introduced Flourish 1 on September 29, 2026 and opened preorders for an initial batch of 50 units at $3,555, with deliveries planned from December 2026.

    Hardware as reported

Launch coverage describes a wheeled base with a humanoid upper body and two arms, a height of about 3 feet 7 inches, a weight of about 44 pounds and up to 12 hours of battery life. Grippers are two-fingered and carry wrist cameras, and the base uses lidar for obstacle detection.

    Teaching method

Owners demonstrate a chore by moving a phone, and the arms mirror the motion. The maker says models are then fine-tuned per task and per home, with cloud processing used for training and inference.

    Listed chores

Coverage lists putting shoes away, moving clothes to a basket, discarding trash, wiping tables and watering plants. Dishwasher unloading, table setting and food preparation are described as planned.
