Bottom lineThe reveal describes design and ratings; field behavior was not yet on record.
ImpactOn autonomy
- Navigation pairs RTK satellite positioning with 3D time-of-flight sensing and an AI camera.
- No boundary wire is needed; a small GPS mast sits in the garden.
- Two offset cutting discs give a 33 cm cutting width with edge clearance of about 5 cm.
On readiness
- The maker positions it for lawns up to 1,600 square meters, with a stated maximum of 2,500.
- Launch coverage reported sales starting in February 2025, with pricing still unannounced.

Lineup
Ecovacs presented five mowers in January 2025: the GOAT A3000 LiDAR, A1600 RTK, O1200 RTK, O800 RTK and O500 Panorama. The A1600 RTK covered here is the second-largest of the A series.
Navigation and Cutting
The A1600 RTK uses RTK positioning from a small mast placed in the garden, supported by 3D time-of-flight sensing and an AI camera at the front. Two cutting discs sit slightly offset from each other, giving a 33 cm cutting width, 30 to 90 mm cutting height and about 5 cm edge distance. The body measures about 68 by 46 by 31 cm.
Availability
Coverage of the reveal said sales would start in February 2025 in countries including Germany; reports gave February 6 and February 10 as the date, so the exact day is not settled. Pricing was not published at the reveal.
