Can any of these robots handle both eldercare and pet monitoring?

None of these records describes one robot built for both. The Enabot EBO X drives to a room with a 4K camera and two-way audio for pet and family check-ins, and its record notes no play or toy hardware. The ElliQ 3 gives medication, appointment and hydration reminders and starts conversations itself, but it is stationary. The temi V3 travels to saved rooms with a screen, and the Sony Aibo ERS-1000 can walk a scheduled Patrol route on its premium plan.

Does ElliQ 3 work without a subscription?

Intuition Robotics documents the care membership as required for core wellness features. The hardware price of approximately $249 does not represent the full cost of ownership.

Does Sony Aibo require an ongoing subscription too?

Yes. The Sony Aibo ERS-1000's record states that full behavioral learning and app interaction require a cloud subscription of about $13 a month, and that offline function is severely limited. The scheduled Patrol route is part of Sony's premium plan. Its record also notes that Sony has never closed an aibo cloud service, but nothing documented lets an owner keep full function locally if the service ends.

Is temi V3 suitable for a home setting, or is it a commercial product?

Both. The temi V3 is sold to home buyers as well as commercial and small-business buyers, at a $3,950 list price. Setup is mapping the space and saving destinations, after which it travels to them by voice and follows a person on request. Its record limits it to single-level indoor spaces with smooth floors, and an independent home review found it struggled to dock on deep shag carpet.

Can Enabot EBO X move through the home on its own?

To a degree. The Enabot EBO X builds and stores a map with V-SLAM and patrols it on schedules the owner sets, with obstacle-avoidance and anti-drop sensors, though owners report the battery running down on long sessions without a return to the dock. Beyond a patrol route it takes direction from the owner through the app. It stays on one floor, and independent testing recorded its anti-drop sensor missing a low edge such as a dining-table lip.
