Mammotion LUBA 4 AWD

The variant with the most ground to cover is the one that cannot fit the edge trimmer, so scale and finish are sold as alternatives rather than together.

Cloud-served RTK removes the base station the owner had to site and power, and moves the dependency to a network Mammotion has not mapped in public.

Stiga A 15v

Camera-plus-RTK positioning removes the wire and the RTK antenna’s clear-sky requirement, but deep shade and low-sun performance have no published record for this camera-led system.

Haus & Garten Test’s direct review calls the striped cut pattern optimal and complete, yet also recommends it specifically for smaller gardens, a narrower endorsement than its 16,146 sq ft rating implies.

Ten years of included connectivity removes a subscription obligation most 4G-connected mowers carry, though the machine is only five months into a field record too short to establish a reliability pattern.

Mammotion announced the series without pricing for any of the three variants. Preorders are said to open later in the year, and no ship date has been published.
Owners buying the 12000F for its edge trimming
The 12000F is the only variant that does not support the edge-trimming attachment, which is the feature the launch is built around. Buying the largest model forfeits it.
Yards where a perimeter wire is required
This is a wire-free machine with no wired boundary mode. An owner who needs a buried wire, for a shared boundary or an unmapped hazard, cannot configure one.
Anyone who needs verified performance before purchase
No independent testing of this machine exists. Every figure on this page traces to Mammotion or to trade-show reporting, and the trimming arm has not been shown working in third-party hands.
Regions with thin network RTK coverage
The positioning stack leans on a cloud correction service. Mammotion has not published which territories the free iNavi service covers, so navigation quality outside well-served regions is unknown.

  • Weekly: Wipe the four navigation cameras and the LiDAR turret; soiled optics are the most common cause of degraded obstacle detection.
  • Weekly: Clear grass packing from beneath the cutting deck and around the floating discs.
  • Monthly: Inspect the edge-trimming arm pivot for debris and free movement, on the 3000F and 6000F.
  • Seasonally: Replace the blade sets, six per disc, across two discs on the 3000F and 6000F or three on the 12000F.
  • Seasonally: Check wheel tread and drive housings after the wet part of the mowing season.
  • Annually: Store the pack charged and indoors over winter, and re-verify the map before the first spring cut.

  • Weekly: Clean the blades and check their efficiency, replacing any that are bent or worn (12-blade kit, art. 1127-0009-01); STIGA’s table sets this at weekly or every 50 operating hours.
  • Weekly: Clean oxidation off the recharging contacts and wipe the camera module lens with a soft cloth only; brushes, scrapers and solvents scratch the glass.
  • Monthly: Clean the whole mower with a sponge, lukewarm water and neutral soap (never a pressure jet), and have the charging base and power cables checked for wear; documented as monthly or every 100 operating hours.
  • Annually: Carry out the servicing at an authorized service centre; STIGA states malfunctions traced to a skipped annual service are not covered under warranty.
  • Seasonally: For winter, run the app’s hibernation wizard to register the pre-storage charge (required for the battery warranty), remove the safety key, and store the mower horizontal, dry and protected from ice; recharge at least every 6 months in storage.
  • As needed: Battery replacement goes through STIGA technical assistance staff, not the owner; contact a service centre when working range shrinks.
