Edge cleaning rivals flagships, but a fixed LiDAR dome keeps it out from under low furniture that lower-profile rivals reach.

The roller lifts on carpet yet stays uncovered: rugs are spared most passes, not all of them.

Roborock Qrevo Master

The retractable arm adds capability at the cost of dock complexity. Mop-pad alignment and rotating-mechanism maintenance will dominate the hands-on effort, not the base autonomy.

Self-washing pads trade a chore for a consumable. The station rinses and dries the pads after each run instead of leaving that to the sink, and the pads still wear out and get replaced; a stationary pad you wash yourself lasts longer between purchases because it spends less time in a wash cycle.

Who each one is wrong for

Stated by the record itself. A robot being wrong for a household is a fact about fit, not a fault.

Homes with low sofas and sideboards
The fixed LiDAR dome makes the robot slightly chunky, and Trusted Reviews warns it will struggle to fit under some low furniture.
Homes with rugs that must never get damp
The roller lifts 11 mm on carpet but has no cover, so Trusted Reviews flags a risk of wetting some carpeted areas.
Owners who need to mop without vacuuming
There are only two modes, vacuum and mop or vacuum only; Trusted Reviews notes no mop-only option.
Floors with heavy, dried-on food stains
Trusted Reviews found dried ketchup largely remained after two passes and the deep mop mode, needing a pre-spray to clear.
Roborock Qrevo Master
Renters or frequent-move situations
The station is 340 mm (13.4 in) wide and needs a patch of floor against a wall with an outlet. Nothing is plumbed or permanently installed: the 4L clean and 3.5L dirty water tanks lift out and are filled and emptied by hand, and setup is plugging it in and filling the clean tank. What it costs is fixed floor area, which a small apartment may not have to give.
High-pile or shag carpet homes
Rotating pads are designed for hard and low-pile surfaces. Manufacturer documentation does not recommend use on high-pile carpet.
Owners wanting minimal dock maintenance
Mop pad washing, dust auto-empty, and water tank refills require monthly water tank cleaning and quarterly filter replacement to prevent odor and motor load.

What stays your job

The upkeep ownership hands back to you, whatever the autonomy level says.

  • Weekly: Refill the 2.5 L clean-water tank and empty the 2.4 L dirty-water tank from the top of the dock.
  • Every 3-6 months: Replace the sealed dock dust bag, which eufy expects to last two to three months in average homes.
  • As needed: Refill the detergent tank with eufy’s solution or your own floor detergent.
  • Monthly: Wipe the LiDAR dome and the AI.See 3.0 camera and line-laser window.
  • As needed: Replace the HydroJet roller, filter and side brushes as they wear.
Roborock Qrevo Master
  • Weekly: Empty the station’s dirty-water tank and refill the clean-water tank; clear hair from the wheels and main brush.
  • Monthly: Rinse the wash tray and the station’s water path; wipe out both tanks.
  • Every 3-6 months: Replace the mop pads once the pile has matted (~$30-40 per pair); replace the main brush and side brush if matted (~$25-35 for a brush kit).
  • Every 6-12 months: Replace the filter; two spares ship in the box.
  • As needed: Replace the station’s dust bag when it is full.
