01 Classification

What each one does on its own.

The Autonomy Ladder is the same five rungs for every robot on the site. A rung describes the conditions a robot handles without you, not how good it is.

V
Generalized
Any task, any setting
IV
Environmental
Handles new obstacles without help
MOVA Mobius 60
III
Conditional
Finishes familiar jobs on its own

II
Assisted
Runs preset routines, needs rescue
I
Manual

02 Assessment

Where they actually differ.

The Robovations Score is nine inputs across three pillars, each weighted as shown and each scored so that more is better. A robot can lead on one and trail on another, which is the point of showing them apart. Cost of ownership and data handling are reported on each robot's own page and are never averaged into the score.

How far apart is a long way?

04 Ownership

What the numbers leave out.

The trade-off

What each design gives up to be good at what it is good at.

eufy Omni E35

Edge cleaning rivals flagships, but a fixed LiDAR dome keeps it out from under low furniture that lower-profile rivals reach.

The roller lifts on carpet yet stays uncovered: rugs are spared most passes, not all of them.

MOVA Mobius 60

Automatic MopSwap: the dock selects and fits one of three pads per room with no owner involvement. Floor-specific mopping costs a larger station and three consumable pad sets to keep in rotation.

StepMaster 2.0 retractable legs clear 80 mm (3.15 in) against a category norm nearer 20 mm. Raised thresholds and single steps between rooms stop being no-go zones; the moving legs are hardware a fixed chassis does not have.

Who each one is wrong for

Stated by the record itself. A robot being wrong for a household is a fact about fit, not a fault.

eufy Omni E35
Homes with low sofas and sideboards
The fixed LiDAR dome makes the robot slightly chunky, and Trusted Reviews warns it will struggle to fit under some low furniture.
Homes with rugs that must never get damp
The roller lifts 11 mm on carpet but has no cover, so Trusted Reviews flags a risk of wetting some carpeted areas.
Owners who need to mop without vacuuming
There are only two modes, vacuum and mop or vacuum only; Trusted Reviews notes no mop-only option.
Floors with heavy, dried-on food stains
Trusted Reviews found dried ketchup largely remained after two passes and the deep mop mode, needing a pre-spray to clear.
MOVA Mobius 60
Homes needing verified deep-pile carpet performance
MOVA fits a pressure-retention baffle to concentrate the 30,000 Pa on carpet, plus triple anti-tangle mechanisms for hair. Deep shag performance is not documented for this model.
Homes with a single uniform floor surface
MopSwap's value is fitting a different pad per room. A house that is all one flooring type uses one pad and leaves the mechanism's range unexercised.
Homes with complex multi-level layouts or frequent rearrangement
Mapping stability degrades when furniture moves frequently; re-mapping intervention needed.

What stays your job

The upkeep ownership hands back to you, whatever the autonomy level says.

eufy Omni E35
  • Weekly: Refill the 2.5 L clean-water tank and empty the 2.4 L dirty-water tank from the top of the dock.
  • Every 3-6 months: Replace the sealed dock dust bag, which eufy expects to last two to three months in average homes.
  • As needed: Refill the detergent tank with eufy’s solution or your own floor detergent.
  • Monthly: Wipe the LiDAR dome and the AI.See 3.0 camera and line-laser window.
  • As needed: Replace the HydroJet roller, filter and side brushes as they wear.
MOVA Mobius 60
  • Weekly: Refill the clean water tank and empty the dirty water tank at the station.
  • Monthly: Wipe dock contacts and the refill port; replace the filter when the app flags it.
  • Every 3-6 months: Inspect the three MopSwap pads for fraying and replace worn ones.
  • As needed: Replace the station dust bag when the app reports it full; the station empties the robot into it automatically.
  • Annually: Inspect brush bristles; replace main brush if worn.
05 Evidence

How much each of these is standing on.

Classifications rest on different depths of evidence. A pre-release assessment and a verified one are not the same kind of claim.

Robovations classifies robots; it does not rank them. Nothing on this page is a recommendation, and no manufacturer influences a classification or its placement here.
