01 Classification

What each one does on its own.

The Autonomy Ladder is the same five rungs for every robot on the site. A rung describes the conditions a robot handles without you, not how good it is.

02 Assessment

Where they actually differ.

The Robovations Score is nine inputs across three pillars, each weighted as shown and each scored so that more is better. A robot can lead on one and trail on another, which is the point of showing them apart. Cost of ownership and data handling are reported on each robot's own page and are never averaged into the score.

04 Ownership

What the numbers leave out.

The trade-off

What each design gives up to be good at what it is good at.

Dreame D30 Ultra Robot Vacuum

Priced well below Dreame’s L60-series siblings with the same PowerDock-style automated upkeep, but launch-cycle coverage rated obstacle avoidance and mopping capability below the category average.

MopExtend reaches edges and corners other designs miss, in a product otherwise positioned as Dreame’s entry-level all-in-one model.

Tesvor S8 Pro Robot Vacuum Cleaner

The manufacturer states a breakpoint-resume feature and a 2-year warranty, both genuine commitments, but the product cannot currently be purchased at a verified US price.

8000Pa suction and ultrasonic carpet detection are higher-spec features for the class, offset by a standard dock with no self-emptying or self-washing capability.

Who each one is wrong for

Stated by the record itself. A robot being wrong for a household is a fact about fit, not a fault.

Dreame D30 Ultra Robot Vacuum
Homes with frequent floor clutter
Launch-cycle coverage rated obstacle avoidance notably below a tested-competitor average.
Buyers wanting a deeply independently reviewed model
No independent field review with bench test scores or a documented reliability record was located for this SKU.
Buyers prioritizing the strongest mopping performance in Dreame's line
Launch-cycle coverage rated mopping capability modestly below the category average, versus the more thoroughly tested L60-series siblings.
Tesvor S8 Pro Robot Vacuum Cleaner
Buyers wanting a confirmed US dollar price today
No current US dollar price was confirmed in any source reviewed; official pricing found was in euros only.
Buyers who need the product in stock now
Tesvor's own product page listed the S8 Pro as out of stock at the time of this research.
Buyers wanting a self-emptying or self-washing dock
The dock is a standard charging dock only; the dustbin and water tank require manual handling.

What stays your job

The upkeep ownership hands back to you, whatever the autonomy level says.

Dreame D30 Ultra Robot Vacuum
  • Dust bag: Empty the PowerDock’s 3.2L disposable bag, rated for up to approximately 100 days.
  • Water/detergent: Refill and drain the dock’s water supply on a cadence not confirmed in sources reviewed.
  • Setup: Set no-go zones, multi-floor maps, and schedules once in the DreameHome app.
Tesvor S8 Pro Robot Vacuum Cleaner
  • Dust bin: No self-emptying dock; the dustbin must be emptied by hand after runs.
  • Mop tank: Fill and empty the 300ml water tank by hand; no self-washing pad system.
  • Setup: Set no-go zones, schedules, and suction or mop power levels in the app.
05 Evidence

How much each of these is standing on.

Classifications rest on different depths of evidence. A pre-release assessment and a verified one are not the same kind of claim.
