All robot vacuums. Every figure below is placed against the whole class, so a gap can be read against how much the class itself varies.
The conditions each robot was assessed against, side by side. Rows marked in gold are where these machines genuinely differ.
| Condition | SwitchBot Floor Clean… | Roborock Qrevo S Pro |
|---|---|---|
| Home size | ||
| Under 1,500 sqft | GoodCapable but exceeds typical compact-home needs; a cheaper model in this class would deliver equivalent coverage. | Good240-minute runtime and about 1,495 sq ft measured per charge easily covers compact layouts in one pass. |
| 1,500 – 3,000 | GoodRuntime and coverage well-matched to single-pass floor-plan completion; dock return not required mid-cycle. | GoodIndependent testing measured roughly 1,495 sq ft cleaned per charge, enough for most homes in this range without a recharge stop. |
| Over 3,000 | DependsDock return required on homes exceeding 3000 sqft; multi-zone operation unsupported without manual recharge pauses. | DependsAt about 1,495 sq ft measured per charge, homes above 3,000 sq ft likely need more than one charge cycle to finish. |
| Primary floors | ||
| Hard floors | GoodMopping function optimized for sealed hardwood and tile; no protection needed for wet-pad risk. | Good18,500 Pa suction and automatically lifting mop pads clean bare floors without extra setup or manual pad removal. |
| Low / medium pile | Good10000Pa suction handles low-pile carpet; standard for this class. | GoodIndependent testing measured 81 percent carpet debris removal, matching the category average despite a single rubber main brush. |
| High pile / shagthey differ | PoorOwner reports document suction loss on high-pile and shag carpet; mopping function excludes no-wet-zone configuration. | DependsThe single rubber main brush gives less mechanical agitation than a bristle brush, so thick high-pile carpet likely sees reduced pickup. |
| Mopping needs | ||
| Vacuum only | GoodStrong vacuum; the mop lifts or detaches when not needed. | GoodStrong vacuum; the mop lifts or detaches when not needed. |

A robot being poor for a condition is a fact about fit, not a fault. “Depends” means the record names a limit worth reading, not that the answer is unknown.
Nine inputs across three pillars, each weighted as shown and each scored so more is better. A robot can lead on one and trail on another, which is the point of showing them apart.
A number only means something next to the spread it sits in. Each track is the real range across every classified robot in the class, with the median marked.
Not compared, because fewer than two of these robots carry a published figure: Charge time, Noise, Weight.
Written on each record, and the only thing here every robot on the site carries.
What each design gives up to be good at what it is good at.
The base station is the product: plumbed into a cold water line and a drain, it removes tank handling from the routine entirely. Unplumbed, the same machine goes back to filling and emptying tanks by hand, and the dock still has to live somewhere a water line can reach.
The cleaning solution is not substitutable. SwitchBot’s manual requires its own formula and states that third-party alternatives may damage the internal pumping system, so the running cost is fixed to one supplier rather than shopped.
This is a flagship-grade mop paired with a mid-pack brush: the dock out-cleans machines twice its price, and the main roller falls behind machines half its price on pet hair.
Structured-light obstacle avoidance caught only 5 of 24 test obstacles, so floors need clearing before a run that a stronger sensor suite would tolerate left alone.
Single rubber main brush: strong on bare-floor debris, prone to hair wrap in shedding-pet homes.
Stated by the record itself. A robot being wrong for a household is a fact about fit, not a fault.
The upkeep ownership hands back to you, whatever the autonomy level says.
Classifications rest on different depths of evidence. A pre-release assessment and a verified one are not the same kind of claim.

Evidence status counts the sources behind a classification, not their kind. A high count can be maker documentation and price coverage, so read it as how much was reviewed rather than as independent testing. How we weigh evidence.
