The OZMO Roller 3.0 delivers near-record dried-stain scores, but the 250 ml dustbin means the robot interrupts longer sessions to self-empty, effectively capping single-pass coverage on large open floors.

Mini-ToF LiDAR navigation is reliable in open layouts; in cluttered spaces, the system avoids obstacles by skipping whole zones rather than routing around them.

Roborock Q8 Max+

The budget price is real (under $600 with self-empty dock) because obstacle handling is Reactive Tech rather than a camera. The robot detects obstacles without identifying them, and it holds roughly 1.5 inches off walls and baseboards, which costs edge and corner pickup.
