All robot vacuums. Every figure below is placed against the whole class, so a gap can be read against how much the class itself varies.
The conditions each robot was assessed against, side by side. Rows marked in gold are where these machines genuinely differ.
| Condition | Deebot N30 Omni | Deebot X9 Pro Omni |
|---|---|---|
| Home size | ||
| Under 1,500 sqft | GoodUp to 320 minutes runtime in quiet mode (manufacturer) comfortably covers compact home layouts in a single cleaning run. | GoodSingle-session runtime covers under 1500 sqft; efficient bin-emptying interval for compact homes. |
| 1,500 – 3,000they differ | DependsNo published per-charge square-footage coverage exists; 320-minute quiet-mode runtime is the only documented battery figure for mid-size homes. | GoodTarget size range. Multi-floor mapping supports two-level homes; single-session scheduling typical. |
| Over 3,000 | DependsAn independent review found the app's automatic room segmentation needed manual correction, a friction that compounds across larger, more complex layouts. | DependsExceeds single-session battery range. Multi-run scheduling required; adds overall cycle duration. |
| Primary floors | ||
| Hard floors | GoodAn independent review found it needs added detergent to fully remove tough, dried stains like ketchup or mud. | GoodDual rollers and suction calibrated for hard surfaces. Mop wash cycles optimized for tile and laminate. |
| Low / medium pile | GoodAn independent review measured very good initial carpet pickup performance on low-to-medium pile flooring. | GoodLow-pile carpet is primary design target. Dual-roller traction ensures consistent coverage. |
| High pile / shagthey differ | DependsThe mop pad lifts on carpet detection to avoid wetting rugs, but no independent test measured pickup on high-pile carpet specifically. | PoorOwner reports document suction loss and roller slippage on high-pile and shag. Not recommended for carpet-exclusive homes. |

A robot being poor for a condition is a fact about fit, not a fault. “Depends” means the record names a limit worth reading, not that the answer is unknown.
Nine inputs across three pillars, each weighted as shown and each scored so more is better. A robot can lead on one and trail on another, which is the point of showing them apart.
A number only means something next to the spread it sits in. Each track is the real range across every classified robot in the class, with the median marked.
Not compared, because fewer than two of these robots carry a published figure: Weight.
Written on each record, and the only thing here every robot on the site carries.
What each design gives up to be good at what it is good at.
The dock self-washes and dries the mop pad without owner action, but an independent review found it still needs added detergent and multiple passes to fully lift tough, dried stains.
LDS laser navigation and TrueMapping 2.0 build and retain room maps efficiently, but without camera-based sensing an independent review documented one collision with a placed obstacle it should have avoided.
The station carries the mop routine and asks for space and refills in return: it heats its own wash water, dries with 145F air and doses detergent, while its clean and dirty tanks are filled and emptied by hand from a fixed floor position.
Stated by the record itself. A robot being wrong for a household is a fact about fit, not a fault.
The upkeep ownership hands back to you, whatever the autonomy level says.
Classifications rest on different depths of evidence. A pre-release assessment and a verified one are not the same kind of claim.

Evidence status counts the sources behind a classification, not their kind. A high count can be maker documentation and price coverage, so read it as how much was reviewed rather than as independent testing. How we weigh evidence.
