Roborock
Up to three
All robot vacuums. Every figure below is placed against the whole class, so a gap can be read against how much the class itself varies.
The conditions each robot was assessed against, side by side. Rows marked in gold are where these machines genuinely differ.
| Condition | Dreame MOVA Z60 Ultra… | Qrevo Edge 3 Pro |
|---|---|---|
| Home size | ||
| Under 1,500 sqft | GoodCapable architecture exceeds what compact homes typically require. Dock footprint and water-supply needs are overbuilt for <1,500 sqft. | GoodIn independent lab testing, it took 18 minutes to clean a 204 sq ft area on the normal cycle, so small homes finish quickly. |
| 1,500 – 3,000 | GoodLiDAR covers 1,500-3,000 sqft layouts efficiently; dock water-supply integration typical for this floor-area tier. | GoodStuff ran combined mop and vacuum cycles of nearly 90 minutes without the battery running out mid-clean. |
| Over 3,000they differ | GoodDesigned for 3,000+ sqft multi-floor homes. LiDAR mapping and heated-water cycles support larger hard-floor coverage. | DependsRoborock claims about 3,770 sq ft per charge; no independent run across a home this size has been published. |
| Primary floors | ||
| Hard floors | GoodRoller-mop design targets sealed tile, vinyl, and stone floors. Heated water cycles optimize dried-dust removal on hard surfaces. | GoodIndependent lab testing recorded 94% flour pickup on hard floor, and another reviewer saw an upturned flour bag cleared. |
| Low / medium pilethey differ | PoorNon-lifting roller-mop architecture causes suction loss and drag on low-pile carpet. No carpet-lift option documented. | GoodOne reviewer found fine dust, crumbs and rice lifted from carpet, with pads raised so rugs stayed dry. |
| High pile / shagthey differ | PoorOwner reports document significant suction loss and mat formation on shag and high-pile carpet. Roller design is incompatible. | DependsRated for pile up to 1.18 in; independent lab testing measured 57% flour pickup on carpet and missed a sock there. |
| Mopping needs | ||
| Vacuum only | GoodStrong vacuum; the mop lifts or detaches when not needed. | GoodStrong vacuum; the mop lifts or detaches when not needed. |

A robot being poor for a condition is a fact about fit, not a fault. “Depends” means the record names a limit worth reading, not that the answer is unknown.
Nine inputs across three pillars, each weighted as shown and each scored so more is better. A robot can lead on one and trail on another, which is the point of showing them apart.
A number only means something next to the spread it sits in. Each track is the real range across every classified robot in the class, with the median marked.
Not compared, because fewer than two of these robots carry a published figure: Runtime, Charge time, Noise, Weight.
Written on each record, and the only thing here every robot on the site carries.
What each design gives up to be good at what it is good at.
The dock washes the roller in hot water and doses cleaning solution automatically, but its four tanks are filled and emptied by hand, which is more routine handling than a vacuum-only flagship asks for.
LiDAR navigation and automatic carpet handling mean one run covers mixed floors, but MOVA publishes no pile-height limit for AutoShield or LiftPro, so deep shag is undocumented territory.
The retracting turret buys under-sofa reach, and the reviews show a LiDAR robot that still needs rescuing now and then.
Obstacle recognition that works on light carpet and hard floor missed a sock and a cable on brown carpet, so the floor color decides how much pre-tidying a run needs.
Hot-water pad washing ends the mop smell. The dock’s clean and dirty tanks still go to the sink by hand.
Stated by the record itself. A robot being wrong for a household is a fact about fit, not a fault.
The upkeep ownership hands back to you, whatever the autonomy level says.
Classifications rest on different depths of evidence. A pre-release assessment and a verified one are not the same kind of claim.

Evidence status counts the sources behind a classification, not their kind. A high count can be maker documentation and price coverage, so read it as how much was reviewed rather than as independent testing. How we weigh evidence.
