Ecovacs
Up to three
All robot vacuums. Every figure below is placed against the whole class, so a gap can be read against how much the class itself varies.
The conditions each robot was assessed against, side by side. Rows marked in gold are where these machines genuinely differ.
| Condition | Dreame MOVA Z60 Ultra… | Deebot T30 Pro Omni |
|---|---|---|
| Home size | ||
| Under 1,500 sqft | GoodCapable architecture exceeds what compact homes typically require. Dock footprint and water-supply needs are overbuilt for <1,500 sqft. | Good180-minute runtime covers under 1,500 sqft in one pass; standard mode sufficient. |
| 1,500 – 3,000 | GoodLiDAR covers 1,500-3,000 sqft layouts efficiently; dock water-supply integration typical for this floor-area tier. | GoodTypical range for this model; multi-room scheduling handles splits across two floors efficiently. |
| Over 3,000they differ | GoodDesigned for 3,000+ sqft multi-floor homes. LiDAR mapping and heated-water cycles support larger hard-floor coverage. | DependsDeep cleans on 3,000+ sqft single floors require mid-session recharge; extends total time to 3-4 hours. |
| Primary floors | ||
| Hard floors | GoodRoller-mop design targets sealed tile, vinyl, and stone floors. Heated water cycles optimize dried-dust removal on hard surfaces. | GoodConsistent vacuum performance across sealed hardwood and tile; mopping results good on hard floors. |
| Low / medium pilethey differ | PoorNon-lifting roller-mop architecture causes suction loss and drag on low-pile carpet. No carpet-lift option documented. | GoodVacuum and mopping both perform well on low-pile carpet per owner reports. |
| High pile / shagthey differ | PoorOwner reports document significant suction loss and mat formation on shag and high-pile carpet. Roller design is incompatible. | DependsVacuum handles high-pile; mopping performance degrades significantly and owner reports show suction loss. |

A robot being poor for a condition is a fact about fit, not a fault. “Depends” means the record names a limit worth reading, not that the answer is unknown.
Nine inputs across three pillars, each weighted as shown and each scored so more is better. A robot can lead on one and trail on another, which is the point of showing them apart.
A number only means something next to the spread it sits in. Each track is the real range across every classified robot in the class, with the median marked.
Not compared, because fewer than two of these robots carry a published figure: Runtime, Noise, Weight.
Written on each record, and the only thing here every robot on the site carries.
What each design gives up to be good at what it is good at.
The dock washes the roller in hot water and doses cleaning solution automatically, but its four tanks are filled and emptied by hand, which is more routine handling than a vacuum-only flagship asks for.
LiDAR navigation and automatic carpet handling mean one run covers mixed floors, but MOVA publishes no pile-height limit for AutoShield or LiftPro, so deep shag is undocumented territory.
The dock eliminates manual mop rinsing, but introduces a 20-30 minute wash-and-dry cycle that conflicts with quiet household hours.
Ecovacs publishes up to 290 minutes in silent mode on hard floor, but that is a best case; raising suction toward the 11,000 Pa maximum shortens a charge substantially, and no runtime at that setting is published.
The automated dock adds convenience but brings its own upkeep, mop pads, dust bags and tank refills, that a budget vacuum does not carry.
Stated by the record itself. A robot being wrong for a household is a fact about fit, not a fault.
The upkeep ownership hands back to you, whatever the autonomy level says.
Classifications rest on different depths of evidence. A pre-release assessment and a verified one are not the same kind of claim.

Evidence status counts the sources behind a classification, not their kind. A high count can be maker documentation and price coverage, so read it as how much was reviewed rather than as independent testing. How we weigh evidence.
