All robot vacuums. Every figure below is placed against the whole class, so a gap can be read against how much the class itself varies.
The conditions each robot was assessed against, side by side. Rows marked in gold are where these machines genuinely differ.
| Condition | Aqua10 Ultra Roller | Saros 20 Flow Complete |
|---|---|---|
| Home size | ||
| Under 1,500 sqft | GoodRobot is flagship-class; smaller homes may not justify premium price or dock footprint. | GoodHandles compact homes easily; suction and LiDAR mapping comfortably cover a small floor plan, though the dock automation is more than most small spaces need. |
| 1,500 – 3,000 | GoodTarget size for flagship dock integration; dock requires ~2 sqft of dedicated floor space. | Good36,000 Pa suction and retained multi-room LiDAR maps suit mid-to-large floor plans across several rooms. |
| Over 3,000they differ | DependsSingle dock location may require extended docking or multi-zone setup; mop coverage requires multiple passes. | GoodMulti-level maps and a self-servicing dock handle large multi-floor homes with minimal owner intervention. |
| Primary floors | ||
| Hard floors | GoodRoller-mop design optimizes hard-floor water agitation; sealed tile, vinyl, and treated wood are primary targets. | GoodRoller mop refreshed with clean water and 36,000 Pa suction target sealed hard floors, the surface it is built for. |
| Low / medium pilethey differ | DependsMop pad must be manually disabled for low-pile carpet; vacuum suction performance is strong but mop engagement risks clogging. | GoodCarpet detection lifts the mop 15 mm and raises suction, so low-pile rugs are cleaned without wetting. |
| High pile / shagthey differ | PoorRoller drum + heated pads are documented to clog on high-pile surfaces; manufacturer recommends mop-disabled zones. | DependsMop lifts only 15 mm and the roller is built for hard and low-pile; suction retention on deep pile is not independently tested for this SKU. |

A robot being poor for a condition is a fact about fit, not a fault. “Depends” means the record names a limit worth reading, not that the answer is unknown.
Nine inputs across three pillars, each weighted as shown and each scored so more is better. A robot can lead on one and trail on another, which is the point of showing them apart.
A number only means something next to the spread it sits in. Each track is the real range across every classified robot in the class, with the median marked.
Not compared, because fewer than two of these robots carry a published figure: Runtime, Noise.
Written on each record, and the only thing here every robot on the site carries.
What each design gives up to be good at what it is good at.
The roller is novel mechanical risk for a first-gen implementation: Dreame ships this as flagship hardware, yet identical mop-pad clogging issues are emerging in early forums.
Consumable cadence is unmeasured: the station washes and dries the roller after every run, and the roller, scraper and wash tray all need periodic hand cleaning. No published replacement interval for the roller exists, so the long-run consumable cost is not documented.
You are paying flagship money for Roborock’s most automated dock yet and a roller-mop design only weeks into public hands.
The roller washes itself continuously so pad swaps end, but a jammed roller or skipped detergent and water refill becomes the new weekly upkeep.
Stated by the record itself. A robot being wrong for a household is a fact about fit, not a fault.
The upkeep ownership hands back to you, whatever the autonomy level says.
Classifications rest on different depths of evidence. A pre-release assessment and a verified one are not the same kind of claim.

Evidence status counts the sources behind a classification, not their kind. A high count can be maker documentation and price coverage, so read it as how much was reviewed rather than as independent testing. How we weigh evidence.
