All robot vacuums. Every figure below is placed against the whole class, so a gap can be read against how much the class itself varies.
The conditions each robot was assessed against, side by side. Rows marked in gold are where these machines genuinely differ.
| Condition | DJI ROMO P2 | Bosch Built-in Vacuum… |
|---|---|---|
| Home size | ||
| Under 1,500 sqftthey differ | GoodHandles smaller homes easily; 36,000 Pa suction and LiDAR mapping exceed what a compact footprint needs. | DependsBosch publishes no runtime or coverage figure, so fit for this size cannot be confirmed yet. |
| 1,500 – 3,000they differ | GoodLiDAR mapping and 36,000 Pa suction target this footprint, per DJI's own spec sheet. | DependsNo runtime or coverage-per-charge figure exists to confirm a home this size in one run. |
| Over 3,000 | DependsNo published runtime or multi-map figures confirm single-charge coverage at this size yet. | DependsNo coverage figure is published, and the single kitchen station limits reach on large layouts. |
| Primary floors | ||
| Hard floors | Good36,000 Pa suction and an extending mop arm target hard floors and low furniture gaps directly. | GoodTwo rotating pads washed at 167°F target hard floors, with 20,000 Pa suction, per Bosch. |
| Low / medium pile | GoodLiDAR obstacle detection and the stated suction level should handle low-pile carpet transitions. | GoodBosch says the mop pads lift 9 mm when carpet is detected. |
| High pile / shag | DependsNo independent test of high-pile suction retention exists; DJI's figure is a peak claim, not a sustained one. | DependsA 9 mm mop lift and no published carpet test leave deep pile unconfirmed. |
| Mopping needs | ||
| Vacuum only | GoodStrong vacuum; the mop lifts or detaches when not needed. | GoodStrong vacuum; the mop lifts or detaches when not needed. |
| Light mopping | GoodActive mopping system covers routine floors easily. | GoodActive mopping system covers routine floors easily. |

| Upkeep you accept | ||
| Regular upkeep | GoodAny robot vacuum suits an owner who accepts regular upkeep. | GoodAbout 15 minutes of upkeep a month. |
| Some upkeepthey differ | DependsUpkeep time a month is not verified. | GoodAbout 15 minutes of upkeep a month. |

A robot being poor for a condition is a fact about fit, not a fault. “Depends” means the record names a limit worth reading, not that the answer is unknown.
A number only means something next to the spread it sits in. Each track is the real range across every classified robot in the class, with the median marked.
Not compared, because fewer than two of these robots carry a published figure: Price, Runtime, Charge time, Noise, Weight.
Written on each record, and the only thing here every robot on the site carries.
What each design gives up to be good at what it is good at.
The extending arm and ledge-climbing legs are mechanically ambitious for a second-generation product; neither has independent testing behind it yet.
Local Data Mode addresses camera and microphone privacy, but ships in Q4 2026, a full generation after the vacuum itself goes on sale.
The dock disappears into the cabinetry, and so does the option to move or replace the robot without a fitter.
Plumbed water ends tank chores; no independent test has yet measured how well it cleans.
Stated by the record itself. A robot being wrong for a household is a fact about fit, not a fault.
The upkeep ownership hands back to you, whatever the autonomy level says.
Classifications rest on different depths of evidence. A pre-release assessment and a verified one are not the same kind of claim.

Evidence status counts the sources behind a classification, not their kind. A high count can be maker documentation and price coverage, so read it as how much was reviewed rather than as independent testing. How we weigh evidence.
