All robot pool cleaners. Every figure below is placed against the whole class, so a gap can be read against how much the class itself varies.
The conditions each robot was assessed against, side by side. Rows marked in gold are where these machines genuinely differ.
| Condition | Degrii Zima Pro |
|---|---|
| Pool type | |
| In-ground | GoodManufacturer rates depth from 2 ft to 11 ft and coverage to 5,000 sq ft, well inside typical in-ground dimensions. |
| Above-ground | DependsNo above-ground-specific validation was found; the tethered floating battery pack remains an added component to manage regardless of pool type. |
| Mixed setup | GoodThe 2 to 11 ft depth range and 5,000 sq ft rating apply to both installation types. |
| Pool size | |
| Small (< 400 sqft) | GoodRated to 5,000 sq ft with a 210-minute floor cycle; a small pool leaves most of that capacity unused. |
| Medium (400 – 800) | GoodA 210-minute floor-mode runtime and 5,000 sq ft rated coverage clear a medium pool well within a single cycle. |
| Large (> 800) | GoodManufacturer coverage rating of 5,000 sq ft comfortably spans large pools within the 210-minute floor or overall cycle. |
| Debris load | |
| Fine (sand / silt) | GoodThe interchangeable 100-micron ultra-fine basket is built for sand and silt, separate from the coarser 180-micron option. |
| Leaves / large debris | GoodThe 180-micron basket handles coarser leaf and large debris loads, distinct from the fine 100-micron insert. |
| Algae / heavy fouling | DependsNo independent test of cleaning performance against algae was located; only manufacturer and sponsored coverage describe this robot. |
| Coverage you want | |
| Floor only | GoodFloor mode alone runs up to 210 minutes, the longest of the four selectable cleaning modes. |
| Floor + walls | GoodA dedicated wall mode runs up to 150 minutes, cleaning walls separately from the floor-only pass. |
| Floor + walls + waterline | GoodOverall mode covers floor, wall and waterline in one cycle, plus an app command to climb toward the line. |
A robot being poor for a condition is a fact about fit, not a fault. “Depends” means the record names a limit worth reading, not that the answer is unknown.
A number only means something next to the spread it sits in. Each track is the real range across every classified robot in the class, with the median marked.
These robots share no measured specification with enough published figures to plot. That is a gap in the record, not a finding about the robots.
Written on each record, and the only thing here every robot on the site carries.
What each design gives up to be good at what it is good at.
A 360-degree, 20-plus-sensor radar array and a 250W triple-motor pump are a more elaborate design than the Zima Lite’s, but the main unit’s dependence on a tethered floating battery pack is a real added component to manage that the Lite does not have.
A one-click ‘climb to waterline’ command reduces how far a person has to reach to retrieve the unit, but does not remove the retrieval task entirely.
Stated by the record itself. A robot being wrong for a household is a fact about fit, not a fault.
The upkeep ownership hands back to you, whatever the autonomy level says.
Classifications rest on different depths of evidence. A pre-release assessment and a verified one are not the same kind of claim.

Evidence status counts the sources behind a classification, not their kind. A high count can be maker documentation and price coverage, so read it as how much was reviewed rather than as independent testing. How we weigh evidence.
Robovations classifies robots; it does not rank them. Nothing on this page is a recommendation, and no manufacturer influences a classification or its placement here.
Comparing across classes is allowed — the page will switch to per-class positioning and tell you it has.
