All robot vacuums. Every figure below is placed against the whole class, so a gap can be read against how much the class itself varies.
The conditions each robot was assessed against, side by side. Rows marked in gold are where these machines genuinely differ.
| Condition | 3i G10+ | SwitchBot K11+ Pro |
|---|---|---|
| Home size | ||
| Under 1,500 sqft | GoodCapable but dock footprint and battery capacity exceed compact-home needs; budget models serve this tier more efficiently. | GoodCompact body and about 120 minutes of runtime cover sub-1,500 sqft homes comfortably in one pass. |
| 1,500 – 3,000 | GoodLiDAR + full dock cover this range in single session. Mixed-surface coverage on 2,000-3,000 sqft homes documented in user reports. | GoodRoute planning and 120 minutes of runtime cover most mid-size homes; very open layouts near 3,000 sqft approach the limit. |
| Over 3,000 | DependsDocumented range on full battery is 2,500-3,200 sqft depending on mop engagement. Multi-session runs required for over-3,000 sqft; manual recharge needed. | DependsRuntime near 120 minutes with no documented recharge-and-resume may need a mid-clean recharge in homes this large. |
| Primary floors | ||
| Hard floors | GoodSuction and mop optimized for hard surfaces. Extendable mop eliminates separate mopping pass; water tank covers 400-500 sqft per fill. | Good12,000 Pa suction and route planning handle sealed hard floors well, with a light mop pass on top. |
| Low / medium pile | GoodLiDAR and suction rated for low-pile carpet per manufacturer specs. Per-room no-mop zones recommended to prevent pad clogging. | GoodSuction clears low-pile carpet, and the anti-tangle brush helps keep pet hair from wrapping. |
| High pile / shagthey differ | PoorOwner reports document suction loss and mop-pad tangling on high-pile and shag carpet. Manufacturer specs silent on this surface type. | DependsNo independent coverage of deep or shag pile was found; 12,000 Pa may leave embedded debris in thick carpet. |

A robot being poor for a condition is a fact about fit, not a fault. “Depends” means the record names a limit worth reading, not that the answer is unknown.
Nine inputs across three pillars, each weighted as shown and each scored so more is better. A robot can lead on one and trail on another, which is the point of showing them apart.
A number only means something next to the spread it sits in. Each track is the real range across every classified robot in the class, with the median marked.
Not compared, because fewer than two of these robots carry a published figure: Charge time, Noise.
Written on each record, and the only thing here every robot on the site carries.
What each design gives up to be good at what it is good at.
Debris compression is real mechanical progress, but it adds cost and dock footprint. Owners not shedding multi-pet households gain a meaningful win; compact-home owners pay for a feature they do not need.
Extendable mop eliminates a separate mopping pass, but mop-pad clogging on carpet and manual water refill keep hands-on burden higher than flagship self-washing + auto-refill systems.
Mop pads need rinsing by hand after every run; the tradeoff buys a dock that stores 90 days of debris before anyone has to touch it.
Higher suction, shorter leash: the 12,000 Pa motor needs a recharge after about 120 minutes.
Mopping exists on the spec sheet. No independent source has measured what the pads actually leave behind on a floor.
Stated by the record itself. A robot being wrong for a household is a fact about fit, not a fault.
The upkeep ownership hands back to you, whatever the autonomy level says.
Classifications rest on different depths of evidence. A pre-release assessment and a verified one are not the same kind of claim.

Evidence status counts the sources behind a classification, not their kind. A high count can be maker documentation and price coverage, so read it as how much was reviewed rather than as independent testing. How we weigh evidence.
